In October of 2018 Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef launched the VISION 2025 strategic campaign to see one million souls come to Christ by 2025. Through seven focused initiatives over seven years, the global broadcasting ministry is powerfully proclaiming Christ around the world reaching homes in 190 countries, in 26 languages and 13,000 times a week on radio and TV!
Now in year three of VISION 2025, Leading The Way’s broadcasts, both in Australia and globally, continue to offer hope and peace in Christ during uncertain times.
“Leading The Way has helped me walk through a tough year, helping to solidify and grow my faith. Thank you.” – Iskandra, NSW.
By God’s grace, the ministry is emerging in 2021 with greater momentum than ever – positioned to reach more lost souls in the next four years than they have in the entire history of the ministry.
7 INITIATIVES OVER 7 YEARS: YEAR 3
- EXPAND MEDIA FOOTPRINT
Since the launch of VISION 2025, Leading The Way has added 50 new stations with over half of these being secular mainstream channels. This year they also launched the “Finding True Peace” media outreach – a series of 60 second evangelistic commercials airing on top mainstream channels in the US, UK and globally, with over 90,000 people visiting the website, and thousands committing to Christ.
In Australia and New Zealand, the ministry airs on 7Two, 9Gem, 10, GOLD, ChoiceTV and TVNZ1.
- REACH MUSLIMS HERE AT HOME
Over the past three years Leading The Way has expanded the Gospel ministry to Arabic speaking Muslims through 3 key areas. (1) establish on-the-ground outreach events (new outreach events in South-West Sydney, Australia in 2021) (2) English-Arabic radio broadcasts both in the USA and Australia and (3) growing our field teams to coordinate outreach opportunities and deepen discipleship networks (new team members added this year!)
- EXPAND DISCIPLESHIP NETWORK IN MUSLIM WORLD
In the past year Leading The Way expanded the field teams in France, Iran, US and AUS.
Experienced field team members are there to answer spiritual questions, share the Gospel, engage in Bible studies, baptize new believers, connect them to local churches and support them when they suffer for their new faith. The Australian team is growing with new team members added in 2021 to meet the growing need!
- DOUBLE AUDIENCE OF THE KINGDOM SAT
The KINGDOM SAT TV channel (running 24/7) is focused on presenting evangelistic Bible teaching, apologetics programmes and providing discipleship opportunities for viewers in the Muslim world. The KINGDOM SAT was also launched in Australia in 2019 on the Optus D2 Satellite, and a new Australian field team coordinator appointed in 2020! Find out more here!
“I am indebted to THE KINGDOM SAT…It was an incredible day when I got baptized by your team. When the water covered me, I died with Christ and lived again.” – Adam, Egypt.
- HOST EVANGELISTIC EVENTS
Youssef’s LIVE Sunday messages continue to reach people in 60+ countries with hundreds of thousands of viewers tuning in monthly. At a recent LTW LIVE event in October in the US, many gave their lives to Christ and were touched by the Gospel around the world!
- DISTRIBUTE 100,000 NEW NAVIGATORS
Leading The Way has already distributed over 130,000 Navigators globally (solar-powered audio Bibles) and aims to distribute 100,000 more! Hundreds have been distributed in the past few months with many on their way to Afghan refugees fleeing across Europe!
- TARGET A NEW GENERATION
Since 2019 Leading The Way’s new podcast Candid Conversations with Jonathan Youssef has grown to reach listeners in 95 countries, sharing clarity on topics like faith, politics, race and sexuality in respectful, Christ-centered, Biblically-based conversations.
Through these seven initiatives Leading The Way is taking the Gospel to the corners of the globe, passionately proclaiming the uncompromised Truth of Christ.
“The goal is ambitious. The need is great. But now is the time to be all-in for Christ. I am committed to leveraging all that I have to see the lost come to the saving knowledge of Jesus.” – Dr. Michael Youssef.
