Travelling with likeminded people enriches your faith
Joining together with fellow Christians in a safe, caring group is a fantastic solution for all sorts of travellers including less experienced travellers, people travelling solo and those seeking to widen their social horizons.
A Christian group holiday is a great way to make new friends who not only share your faith but will share in the travel experience.
“An excellent way for a single woman to travel. I’ve made some new friends and had a lot of fun and laughs.”
When people leave feedback about Christian Fellowship Tours (CFT) holidays, one of the main things they comment on is the special feeling of connection; of Christian love that embraced them and the friendships that resulted from experiences enjoyed with likeminded people.
“I had a blessed time, particularly the fellowship with fellow Christians and meeting new friends,” reads one comment.
Another reveals: “An excellent way for a single woman to travel. I’ve made some new friends and had a lot of fun and laughs.”
Fiona Burrows has been a regular traveller with Christian Fellowship Tours (CFT) over the past 17 years. Fiona enjoys travelling with Christian groups, as she believes that this common interest “really makes the difference”.
“We begin with something in common and I believe that helps us to share more in the way we interact with each other,’’ explains Fiona.
Anglican lay preacher John Cronshaw, who leads CFT tours around the world with wife Nancie, says travelling with likeminded people gives purpose and meaning to a trip.
“You’re never stuck for someone to talk to because you’ve got a common bond.’’
Group travel is an excellent way for single people, especially women, to explore the world in a safe group environment, knowing care and help is never far away. Fiona loves international travel yet as a solo traveller really appreciates the people she has met while on tour.
“The places I’ve been able to visit have been beautiful, fascinating, culturally different, educational or just plain fun, yet it’s the people I’ve shared those trips with that make the experiences memorable.”
CFT holidays offer many different travel options both domestically and internationally – from spiritually enriching journeys to faith-based-destination itineraries to missionary tours, cultural journeys, relaxing stay-put holidays or more adventurous experiences.
“All trips have been great experiences, great fellowship and certainly widened my horizons. I’ve always felt safe and cared for.’’
All of our tours are fully escorted by a Christian Tour Leader who is there to ensure your holiday goes smoothly and that everyone is catered for and included in every aspect of the tour. Each day is an opportunity to celebrate our faith – daily devotions and Sunday worship with local people helps us really connect with one another.
Ros Tobin “was a novice’” when she joined her first CFT tour many years ago, “but I got hooked and five years later started an annual exploration’”.
Since then, she has toured Adelaide to Darwin, Kangaroo Island, Norfolk Island, Canberra, the Riverland and Outback NSW, the Murray River, Outback Queensland, as well as New Zealand.
“Throughout my travels, I have made many wonderful friends and sometimes meet up with them in other places or on other trips. All trips have been great experiences, great fellowship and certainly widened my horizons. I’ve always felt safe and cared for.’’
Faith, fellowship, fun and friendship are all the hallmarks of a CFT Holiday. Make your next holiday truly memorable and connect with likeminded people when you travel with Christian Fellowship Tours. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
