OUT NOW: "The Good Vote" - a Christian's guide to election issues

In our new podcast, Tim Costello unearths the real issues

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the thought of voting for the future leaders of our nation, then take heart. Eternity News has just released The Good Vote podcast, with hosts Tim Costello and Mel Wade in honest conversation with prominent Australians about the issues that matter this election.

On the guest list are: Former Nationals Leader John Anderson; former senator and Ambassador for Women and Girls Natasha Stott Despoja; scientist, explorer and conservationist Dr Tim Flannery; author of Hislam and Muslim spokesperson Dr Susan Carland; the Reserve Bank’s Prof Ian Harper; and Aboriginal leader Mark Yettica-Paulson.

Host Tim Costello is one of Australia’s most respected Christian leaders and has developed a reputation for working across party lines on the issues that Christians really care about most (as opposed to the issues the media thinks Christians care about).

He’s joined by Mel Wade – a well-loved television and radio host who has appeared on the Hillsong Channel, HOPE 103.2, and has been a regular MC at conferences such as SPARC and Christian Media and Arts Australia’s annual gathering.

Together, the pair bring fresh energy to the issues dominating headlines during this election campaign – without the partisan politics but with plenty of humour.

With all six episodes released simultaneously and no episode longer than 30 minutes, The Good Vote is perfectly “binge-worthy” for listeners looking to get up to begin getting up to speed on election issues before they head to the ballot boxes next month.
