“In Malta,” says Mark Borg, “people love the Virgin Mary, then the Pope, then Elvis, and then Jesus.”
“Elvis had Christian roots and he grew up in a Christian faith, and his gospel [songs] are incredibly popular.”
Mark is a Maltese-born Elvis lover, and a Bible College student, who performs as an Elvis impersonator regularly.
He says, “Elvis had Christian roots and he grew up in a Christian faith, and his gospel [songs] are incredibly popular.”
This weekend he will perform at the Parkes Elvis Festival, leading singing at the gospel service on the Sunday morning, and hoping to share the word of God with the thousands of people who will be in attendance.
