Pope Francis has been described by the Economist as a “turnaround CEO” who’s breathed life into a dying “business”. Holding him up alongside other famous turnaround CEOs such as Steve Jobs, he’s given a glowing report. “How has a septuagenarian Argentine succeeded in galvanising one of the world’s stodgiest outfits? Speaking of pop culture, the life of the local Anglican minister has been given a comedic twist in the popular BBC comedy Rev. But not everyone finds it funny. American academic James Mumford slammed the show in the Guardian this week calling it “pernicious” and accusing it of undermining the church. What do you think?
