Rev. Neville Naden – NSW Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship of Australia (AEF) chairperson, as well as Bush Church Aid (BCA) Indigenous Ministry Officer – would like to invite you to go camping with the family!
Some people described last year’s NSW Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship Family Camp as “a heavenly experience”.
Around 400 people from diverse ethnic backgrounds engaged in meaningful fellowship, listened to uplifting teachings, savoured delicious food, and enjoyed southern gospel music during last year’s camp across the October long weekend.
Attendees travelled from as far as Kalgoorlie in Western Australia, with many coming from Queensland and throughout New South Wales.
This year the location has been changed from Gilgandra to Condobolin as we have outgrown the previous venue – a good problem to have! The Condobolin showground will provide ample camping and accommodation facilities.
The suggested cost for this year’s family camp is $20 per person and $50 per family. However, if you cannot afford this, we still encourage you to come and enjoy the weekend. But please note, accommodation and camping fees are separate from registration fees.
Though this is a self-catered event, there will be a canteen where meals will be available for purchase.
The keynote speaker is Rev. Phil Wheeler who will deliver messages from Colossians 2 on living a victorious life. During the night services, various Aboriginal leaders will preach on the theme.
In addition, there will be programs tailored for children and youth. We invite you to bring your entire family and enjoy a weekend of fellowship.
The organising committee expresses gratitude to Bush Church Aid, Bible Society Australia, local churches and the Lochland Shire for their support.
If you have no plans for the October long weekend, consider joining us in Condobolin.
