Answering Bob Carr: Why Did Jesus Have to Die?
Nathan Campbell of Creek Road Presbyterian asks: “Did anyone catch Bob Carr’s challenge at the end of Q&A on Monday night? He said:
‘No preacher has ever explained to me why the death of Jesus had to happen, why it was mandated, why any message from God to man had to happen by that route… What about a different way of communicating that message?’ I had a crack.” Here’s his attempt to answer Mr Carr.
The Man Behind the Mountain
In the Colorado desert stands Salvation Mountain, a man-made mountain painted with Biblical messages including the words ‘God is Love’. This is a moving portrait of the man who died earlier this year.
