Australian artists are strongly represented in the Christian categories again this year, with Hillsong UNITED and For King & Country both nominated for Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Album. For King & Country also nabbed a nomination for Top Christian Song for ‘God Only Knows’.

This year’s awards are based on the chart period of March 23, 2019 through March 14, 2020, which was intended for the originally scheduled April 29, 2020 show, postponed due to COVID-19. The 2020 Billboard Music Awards will be held on October 14.
