Administration Assistant

Ukraine crisis as Russia invades

Integricare is a not for profit Christian organisation committed to providing high quality family and children’s services since 1882. An exciting opportunity exists for a capable and organised administrator to take the role of Administration Assistant at Integricare Parramatta. This is a part time position that requires some flexibility in hours worked.

About Us –

Working at Integricare, you will be part of an organisation with a strong heritage and commitment to excellence in all we do. You will have access to opportunities for professional development; operational support and advice; and the resources of a large, well respected organisation that is committed to making a difference in the lives of our clients.

Accommodated in a purpose built centre, our service at Parramatta provides an inclusive and individualised learning program reflecting the Early Years Learning Framework and the NQS. The team are well established, friendly and focused on delivering excellence in care.

About the Role –

Critical to every successful centre is the effective administration and this important role needs a new set of safe hands. Smooth and efficient office operation keeps the centre running well and keeps educational staff in the room with children. As the ‘minister for first impressions’ you will have direct contact with parents on a number of topics including fee collection. Petty cash, banking summaries and other financial transactions are regular tasks along with maintaining client data and general administrative support for the centre manager.

About You –

Naturally you will be organised, methodical and patient. You will be flexible and accommodating but at times you will need to set firm boundaries. A good working knowledge of MS office tools is essential and you will have a knack for establishing and maintaining A-grade office procedures.

The ability to quickly develop relationships and rapport with parents and children is important and you will be relied on to make things happen so you should be comfortable to step up, take initiative and solve problems.

Relevant qualifications will be useful, but the school of life has produced some of our best administrators. You will need to have (or obtain) a Working with Children Check and have a commitment to support the Christian ethos of the organisation.

We welcome applications from people who recognise the impact of excellent early childhood education and who want to apply clerical skills to something genuinely worthwhile.
