Our client organisation is a respected ministry that seeks to prepare Christians to use their skills to go and live among the neediest regions in the Arab world and Asia.

This is their growing member community of Christians who partner with largely the young, persecuted or under-resourced church in these parts, to train, mentor and equip them to share the love and hope of Jesus in their communities and in caring for the whole person.

The Member Care Manager is responsible for the provision of pastoral care for Interserve members who are mobilised from NSW and the ACT. A largely relational role, the role journeys with those interested in mission service from their initial enquiry through our application processes to preparation and placement. It also assist them on return and resettlement on completion of overseas service. Critical to the success of this role is the ability to be resourceful and have clarity of the issues at hand in providing the most appropriate care to our members. The role is one of four Member Care managers based in  Queensland, Victoria and South Australia  and is supported by the National Personnel Directors.  As an evangelical, mature Christian with exposure to global mission, it will be highly desirable that you possess qualifications in Pastoral Care or Chaplaincy and experience in these disciplines that have included cross cultural contexts.
