FRONTIER is a missional leadership internship designed to enable, empower and release individuals for church planting and/or missional leadership within the local church.
Its transformational design nurtures life-long discipleship, faith, and spirituality in an intentional mission context within the grace embrace of a growing missional church community.

FRONTIER aims to release participants into the wider church to plant new churches, or enable missional ministry to renew established local faith communities.
FRONTIER participants undergo assessments for missional ministry and leadership intended to shape and develop the type of missional ministry to which the Spirit is calling them.
FRONTIER is embedded within St Luke’s Lutheran Church, Albury, NSW, and her missional focus of being a Growing Church for a Growing City.
As part of the internship FRONTIER offers a:
- Diploma of Christian Studies, or
- Graduate Diploma of Christian Studies, or
- Graduate Diploma of Divinity
These are delivered in partnership with Melbourne School of Theology, an inter-denominational theological college, an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology, CRICOS: 02650E.
FRONTIER is open to any Christian from any faith or denominational tradition who wishes to explore their missional leadership call in both theory and practice.
