Trinity Chapel Macquarie is an evangelical University-focussed church with a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ at Macquarie University and throughout the world. We are a ministry of Robert Menzies College, an Anglican Residential College affiliated with Macquarie University.

We’re a small church with great people and huge opportunities and we’re looking for someone to join our pastoral team and lead us in the areas of music and worship.

Ukraine crisis as Russia invades


The Music/Worship Pastor will have responsibility for:

  1. designing and leading church gatherings that are: a) saturated in the Bible; b) musically excellent; c) accessible to people from a variety of church and non-church backgrounds.
  2. recruiting and training volunteers from Trinity Chapel to participate in this ministry.
  3. taking overall responsibility for the administration of volunteers, including running team meetings and rostering.

To be a successful candidate you will be:

  • Aligned with the mission, vision and values of Trinity Chapel Macquarie.
  • Gifted in contemporary Christian congregational music performance and leadership.
  • Open to learn and adapt the Anglican tradition of common prayer to a contemporary University setting.
  • Able inspire others with a vision of serving God together.
  • Personally disciplined and organised.
  • Committed to grow in love for the members of the church and to practically express this in prayer.

Workload: Permanent full-time: 12-16 hours/week paid in line with the Anglican ministry stipend for Assistant Ministers

Salary: Robert Menzies College/Trinity Chapel will provide a total remuneration package of $20,096 – $26,794 per annum for part time work comprising base salary and superannuation.
