 About the role

We are seeking a warm and friendly Casual Campsite Assistant with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a positive can-do attitude and proven experience in assisting the running of a campsite, prioritising tasks and projects.

Working with the Campsite Supervisor, the main function of the role is to provide a high level of assistance in the practical day to day running of the campground.  Under the director of the Campsite Supervisor, this would include venue maintenance, grounds maintenance, safety and security inspections.

This exciting role would suit a Campsite Assistant who is eager to learn, is self-motivated and has a background in Buildings and Facilities Maintenance.

 The ideal candidate will have

  • Basic maintenance skills
  • Current drivers licence (Manual Transmission)
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Previous Fire Warden experience (desirable)
  • Pool Plant Operator Certification (desirable)
  • Power tool related certification (highly desirable)
  • Experience in maintenance services or trade experience / qualification (desirable)

Please note that due to the nature of the operational requirements, accommodation will be provided on-site and the Casual Campsite Assistant may be required to sleep on-site overnight and will be on call during the rostered period.

Flexibility is required to deliver an efficient service and the Casual Campsite Assistant may be required to work flexible hours, days and shift types, with on call responsibilities.
