Wollondilly Anglican College is one of 19 schools operated by The Sydney Anglican Schools Corporation. Reports to: Business Manager

Classification: Clerical and Administration Level 2 – Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2017

Status: Full Time (Term Time)

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • First point of contact for the College over the telephone and over the counter
  • Providing database support relating to student attendance, student welfare, Government reporting, and academic reports
  • Administration of First Aid to students
  • Communicating with parents and students
  • Preparation and distribution of documentation and correspondence
  • Office duties including but not limited to faxing, photocopying, delivering messages, shopping, mail
  • Providing administrative and hospitality support for College events and activities
  • Other duties as requested by the Business Manager

Person Profile:

A Christian person who is team oriented, discreet, able to exercise initiative, reliability, patience, empathy, friendliness and is flexible and willing to consider further study if the opportunity presents. Applications should include a reference or referee details from the Minister of the Church they currently attend.

Specific Job Skills:

  • Experience in an office environment
  • Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision
  • Ability to communicate with a broad section of the local community
  • Comfortable with technology including Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel
  • A working knowledge of Edumate (an advantage)
  • An understanding of the expectations relating to Child Protection in a school environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Certificate II or above in Administration or Management OR matching experience with a willingness to upgrade qualifications
