A fabulous Assistant Manager opportunity is available for a motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working and organised leader to perform a key role within our Erskine Park Warehouse team.

 Supporting the Warehouse Manager, this full time (Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm) role will oversee operations and a team of dedicated staff to ensure targets are met and the warehouse runs smoothly, safely and in a well-organized manner.

 Duties include:

• Fast and efficient completion of hands-on warehousing tasks
• Supervising, motivating, training and assisting a team of 15-25 staff
• Identifying, managing and driving change

 Key Criteria:

A passion to actively improve operations and drive change is vital for this role. The ideal applicant needs to be accurate, efficient and have good attention to detail. As well as being good at multi-tasking, you will be task focused, self-motivated and reliable.

Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills are essential. Leadership experience is essential and/or strong previous warehouse experience would be an advantage.

Also important is keen safety awareness and the ability to safely perform duties including manual handling. A forklift license would be an advantage, but a regular driver’s license is essential (P plates acceptable).
