This full-time role presents a unique opportunity for a talented Product Manager to lead the roadmap for a new generation of websites and apps within Bible Society Australia Group.

Working closely with stakeholders including marketing and social media teams, content producers and developers, you will be an excellent communicator and influencer who can build relationships and ensure projects meet deadlines on time and on budget.  You will be agile and think ‘audience first’ to manage the effectiveness and profitability of the products as they move through the product life cycle.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering digital products on time and budget
  • Communicating user needs as understood through research and testing
  • Planning and communicating the digital product life cycle and development roadmap
  • Reporting on key metrics including user audience measures (like acquisition & retention), ecommerce measurements (like conversion or abandonment), and associated targets
  • Ensuring products are achieving business goals and maximising return on investment
  • Increasing the sustainability of products
  • Managing development stakeholders including agencies and web technology contractors
  • A desire to further the Christian message through the work of Bible Society Australia
  • Providing support to other BSA group digital products and tasks as required

Key Criteria:

  • 2+ years of product management experience with practical knowledge of the product development lifecycle
  • Ability to research and prioritise key audience pains, gains and jobs to be done
  • Competent in developing wireframes and A/B testing the designs
  • Familiar with Agile project management and working to fixed deadlines to produce minimum viable products that you can iteratively test with users
  • Solid understanding and execution of Lean product principles
  • Clear communicator and excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in digital and web development (strongly preferred)
  • Proven can do attitude and a willingness to work within a team
