It is expected that the Learning Support Teacher will:

  • Have a part teaching load
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the NESA curriculum 
  • Display organisational and communication skills 
  • Be committed to collaboration across the College community 
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning 
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check 
  • Foster staff cooperation and commitment 
  • Conduct themselves with integrity, loyalty and honesty 
  • Demonstrate a willingness to contribute to co-curricular College activities 
  • Attend expected College events. This will involve hours outside of the regular College day 
  • Have appropriate qualifications relevant to Learning Support or be willing to undertake them
